The CCHC Education Center is a holistic education platform under the Chinese Christian Herald Crusades, dedicated to providing a well-rounded growth environment for children and youth. It offers after-school tutoring, arts and sports programs (such as dance, drama, and table tennis), and fosters learning, character development, and physical and mental growth through youth fellowships and community activities.
We are looking for ten Teaching Assistant Volunteers. Please see the qualifications and responsibilities below.
Qualification:
- English communication skills
- Basic typing and computer skills
- Patient and enjoys working with children
- Reliable and supportive team player
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers during classroom activities for learning math, science, English, social studies, and more
- Support students with learning and classwork
- Prepare classroom materials and supplies
Time Commitment:
- Afterschool support is needed Mon - Fri 2-4:30pm
- Summer camp support is also needed - Mon-Fri 8 hours/day
