Summer is one of A House on Beekman's favorite times of the year! For kindergarten through 5th grade, we offer a full-day summer camp that combines academic instruction, creative expression, spiritual formation, relationship building, and opportunities to explore the city!

We are urgently looking for volunteers to serve this upcoming week: July 27-31.

Volunteers serve from 9am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

• On Monday to Thursdays, Summer Camp takes place in the South Bronx. Students rotate through different sections in small groups by grade including:
  • Enrichment
  • The Arts
  • Outdoor Discovery
  • Snack
  • Bible
  • Arrival
  • Closing Activities
• On "Fun Fridays," the kids and team venture off to enjoy local parks, play on the playground, participate in water activities, and have a picnic.

Time Commitment: While serving the whole week is ideal, you can serve as little as one full day.

Volunteers roles include:

• Assisting in small group rotations
• Leading a lesson/activity/outdoor game
• Serving as a group assistant leader, rotating through all sections with the students, and more!
• No preparation or specific background is needed for this role--just someone who can be present with the kids and love on them with us!

This is a great opportunity for teen volunteers aged 16 and up to serve independently.
