About the Rising Leaders Board:
Hope For New York's Rising Leaders Board is a community of Christians in their 20s and 30s who put their energy, ideas, and networks to work for the flourishing of the city--serving as connectors, ambassadors, and co-creators of bright possibilities alongside Hope For New York.
Expectations for Rising Leaders Board Members:
- Attend all 5-6 meetings per year plus a one-day mini-retreat anticipated in January.
- Join 4+ events of volunteer opportunities, and help coordinate volunteer outings for your church or community.
- Welcome newcomers and make introductions that draw peers into the work.
- Co-create gatherings for our Rising Leader community and help fill event sign-ups early.
- Contribute $5,000+ over the course of the year through fundraising and/or personal donation.
- Pray for the city and invite others to join the mission.
What you'll get:
