We are seeking volunteers with experience in the arts, whether in voice, drama, acting, fashion, or any other artistic field on Wednesdays and Fridays. These volunteers use their skills to help develop the creative gifts of students, and also walk alongside them as they navigate how to use those gifts for the glory of God and the upbuilding of His Kingdom. We are hoping to bring on people who are enthusiastic about seeing transformation in the lives of young people, who are charismatic and altruistic, and who are passionate about helping students discover their unique talents and how those talents can serve a higher purpose. Volunteers should have a heart for mentorship and be willing to invest time and energy in building relationships with students, guiding them as they explore their faith, and helping them understand how their creativity can be an offering to God. The hope is transformation, both in the lives of the students and in the lives of the volunteers. Because of the faith-based nature of this role, we ask that volunteers are Christians with their own personal faith. We are looking for volunteers with experience in art, music, dance, or drama. Though we are a multi-site organization, volunteers must be willing to travel into Manhattan if they live outside the borough.
