Our partnership with City Relief goes deep. Week after week, their customized fleet of buses, complete with kitchens and resource offices, visits neighborhoods across New York City and New Jersey.

It doesn't sound crazy, in the middle of an NYC summer, to join a running group that meets at 5:30 am. That's what I told myself when I saw the listing on HFNY's volunteer opportunities page to volunteer with Back on My Feet (BOMF).

On a free Friday nine months ago, I signed up to serve with Living Waters Fellowship. Since then, I have been desperately trying to help Ms. Isabel on Friday evenings.
